She vanishes home, for words fail to describe the speed with which she departs for her shelter. The envelope is not yet opened. It is her custom to delay its opening until she had fully enjoyed its presence in her passionate hands; she moves it slowly away from her eyes and wonders what fine words laid in that diamond mine for her. Now she holds it against her chest as the tears roll down her cheeks. She refuses to wipe her tears for those rivers that burn her eyes, stream from within her soul and the more they flowed, the more assured she was that her beloved is hers and she is his.
